Guided meditation drop-in classes are led by Buddhist Nun Kelsang Chondzin from the Kadampa Meditation Center in Glen Spey, NY. Classes are based on teachings of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The current series runs January 22 through February 19. The series is titled "Stillness Within: Buddhist Meditation for Everyone". ($8 donation requested per class)
Our Sangha continues to meet when guided meditation classes are not being held. We study from a variety of sources during those weeks.
UUFP is located at 940A Ann Street, Stroudsburg, PA, across from the Ribbon Factory. We meet 7-9 PM on Thursday Evenings.
Following are Directions via Interstate 80:
Traveling From the East - Rt. I-80 to the Broad Street exit -- turn right onto Broad St and take the first left onto Ann Street -- Proceed along Ann Street, passing S. 6th, S. 7th, S. 8th, Williams and S. 9th Streets. Look for our sign at 940A Ann Street.
Traveling from the West - Rt. I-80 to the Park Avenue exit -- Turn left onto Park Ave and take the first left onto Ann Street. Proceed along Ann St., passing S. 8th, Williams and 9th Streets. Look for our sign at 940A Ann Street.
